Build Your Binge Bank

Bankroll, Baby! 🕺🏼🤑🕺🏼🤑

I have reached a low point…

I have moved the gentleman's agreement to the top of his email. You might wonder what this is, perhaps because you never go to the bottom of this email. Or you just simply aren’t good at peer pressure.

That's okay, but not today. Today I need your help.

I've been told by many of you that you have liked these posts. Love that. But this isn't the addictive algorithm of TikTok. This only grows through word of mouth. Because I'm poor and I don't run ads.

I love doing this, but I also love seeing this grow. So, I need a favor from you: to keep this free it would mean the world to me, and my ego, if you shared this with just 1 person who you think would also like this.

Now…. Lets talk about financial institutions 🏦

Build Your Binge Bank

How often do you check your bank account? I used to do it daily. (neurotic, I know.)

Do you track your net worth? Rich people do.

As of August, 2024

We think about money constantly — net worth, runway, finances.

It got to a point where checking my bank account started stressing me out.

“uh no shit, i wonder why”

You, probably

Lets pick this baby up and flip it on its head. Maybe shake it up. Maybe even drop it, like a new dad holding a baby wrong.

yes, this is a stock photo.

This post isn’t for everyone.

But maybe, just maybe, this might be for just one person reading this right now. You?

Maybe that one person hasn’t found this yet. But might soon.

What is this?

This 👇🏻

What you’re reading right now. My newsletter, my content, soon to be all the videos of me on the internet. You’re in my binge bank.

Pull up, drank.

What is a binge bank?

It’s the growing vault of stories, videos, and content I’ve been building for the past year.

As of yesterday, I’ve been writing publicly for exactly one year 🥳.

Not many people read this right now. (If you’re here on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 — you’re an OG. I love you.)

Eventually, that will change. I know it.

At first, I just wanted to get better at storytelling and persuasion. But now? I’m building a rabbit hole. So if someone stumbles on me, they can spiral — 45 minutes later, they’re still watching, reading, clicking.

I want that person to walk away feeling like:

  • “I think I love this guy”

  • “I feel like I’ve known this guy for years”

  • “heck, i even want to work with this guy.”

That’s the plan.

While my bank account might dip, my content bank is growing every single day (how does compound interest work with content?).

Just like when I started this newsletter. Sometimes I wrote a good article, others I rambled for 5 paragraphs and wrote a pretty mid post. But I kept posting.

I’m starting there again with video content. I’m pretty average right now. (some of you might say cringe). But the only way to keep getting better is to build to keep going and build out that binge bank.

I believe the new real estate isn’t physical property — it’s your digital footprint.

I’m glad you found my binge bank. There’s more to come.

You’re Awesome,

Jared

Things Worth Clicking

A few gems I found on the internet this week - no digging required

  • The twitter post I found that inspired this post. Shoutout to Dylan Jardon and Henry Belcaster

  • This brand: Recess has great non-alcoholic products. What really blew me away? Their branding.

  • The landing page of the agency that is behind Recess’s branding. DayJob

This is a screenshot of my browser, not my grandfather's PC.
